ok so those who have read the newspaper recently or log into their facebook account, i assume you guys know about the appearance or virgin mary on a window of sime darby in subang jaya. no? go google!anyways, a lot of Catholics went there and pray, and pray and pray and pray and... pray. well, i dont want to butt into your business of praying, but dude you guys are causing a traffic jam! so stop it already.

dont tell me its miracle! that somehow mary just appeared in stains. just because jesus appeared on toast now mary have to appear on window?

and the pubic hair on mary is actually quite distracting. no?

rant 30 : the rich gets richer, the poor gets poorer

so i started working and getting paid peanuts. im not complaining since i did choose this work becuase i want the experience. but i did not expect the shit i need to take, but its ok. im having fun, and it takes my mind off things.

during these two weeks, i have seen customers having two LVs in a Gucci wearing a Juicy and holding a Burberry. just kidding, but something like that because i dont even know some of the brands but people kept telling me its top brands. but i do remember meeting a customers who kept her rm50s in a LV and her rm10s, rm5s and rm1s in another LV while holding a LV.

obviously, they ordered and paid without caring the cash they are handling to me or what quality of coffee or cakes they will be getting.

most of the customers i met are pretty rich, or above average. while some was just here because the place im working is an atas place, so its cool to hang out but not knowing what they are getting. as long as they look cool.

while some of us worked our sweat and blood out and only earn enough (sometimes not enough close) to live by.

im saying this because i just got my pay cheque and i know how much the fulltimers baristas earn. its not enough for sure because i know how much the real world cost. even if i live below average (meaning i eat bread for every meal, no luxury, no tv, secondhand car, etc) i will still not have enough to live by.

im not boasting, but im lucky enough to have parents who are a tiny bit above average where im able to eat good food when i do run out of cash a.k.a pocket money. and one day, i took away some leftovers because im not able to finish it, and the people who worked with me told me he had never eat at pasta zanmai before.

im in shock.

i know hes not freaking rich, but all these while i assume no matter how less money u earned, u did able to afford pasta zanmai once because, well good food once while is something one will do and able to afford if one keeps enough money.

admit it, quality of lifes bar is getting higher and the richs are getting richer and the poors are getting poorer.

rant 29 : holiday vs. school days

its school days because working people will have different views which i do not know off because i have yet to have a full time job because... dont make me rant about my parents again.

during the school days, most students wants day off. and once a while, they might get maybe a day or two days off and students actually make the most out of it. either by playing games, going out or paying off their sleep dept. in overseas (since im in malaysia) some of them get summer holidays which is about 3-4 months long, depending on i dont know what. and in malaysia, we have about 2 months plus holidays at the end of the year.

during the long holidays, at some point, some of us will want to do something. some will take a job and then complain about it and some will magically take extra classes when all they wanted was holidays.

and when the holidays are at the end, maybe the last two weeks. they all miss the holidays and wanted more holidays.

so make up your mind on what you want. and seriously, a too long holidays period will just keep the brain dusty. and im going through really long holidays so i understand.

sigh.

Food 2 : Nambawan

Nambawan! it sounds like number1, which is what i assume it supposed to be.Nambawan is a place for pork lovers, but very kiam siap (stingy) to pay for it. this restaurant is located in somewhere in PJ which i will provide the address at the end of the post. so here is the pictures on instagram (as usual) and my verdict. my two cents opinion la.

this is the Homemade Pork burger. i cant remember the price because the partner in crime ordered this and i didnt really acknowledge the price because its really reasonable! the patty is bigger compared to the usual and we are served with fries. it tasted really good and u can actually bite chunks of meat instead of those compact minced meat.

next is the roasted pork belly. if im not mistaken, its rm16.90. the sauce is +1 point because i really liked it. it also comes with sweet apple sauce which is awesome. but i didnt eat it with the pork because im still not used to sweet sauce on my pork. it comes with few slices of cucumber, tomatoes and lettuce?

the charboil pork belly is awesome! u can actually taste the charboiled taste and the pork taste afterwards! and the potatoes was good! i think this cost us about rm14.90 or so, i dont remember, sorry! its really good. and it comes with a huge slab of coleslaw!

last but not least! the tex mex pulled pork burger! cost you only rm9.90! u heard me right! with fries! the pulled pork is topped with a bbq sauce and a slab of coleslaw! u can eat the pulled pork by itself and with the coleslaw, its just good combination! and its cheap too!

the pulled pork and the roasted pork are available on weekends only. that was what i was told. but the normal menu looks good too! i tried their iced lemon tea, and i loved it! its really iced lemon tea, not instant iced lemon tea. if u know what i mean.

Food 1 : Yut Kee Restaurant

Sunday morning, i was woken up by my partner in crime before my alarm rang, which is unusual. i assume the Yut Kee restaurant which is famous for its roasted pork must be really good. we both reached there around 9.30am and there was already a crowd enjoying their breakfast. we registered at the counter (to let the boss know how many person we will be having) and waited for about 10 minutes or so, our names were called and we got a seat.

since there was only 2 of us, we couldnt order much. thus we ordered the famous pork chop and roti babi. i assume the pork chop is the item-on-demand because i was served really fast.

the above is the famous pork chop. two lightly fried pork chop, served with potatoes and some vegetables such as chick peas&corns&carrots (those standard 3 combination) and topped with some gravy. rm10 for this portion is reasonable. but to my disappointment, it didnt taste as good as expected. its just the ordinary pork chop topped with mushroom sauce to me.

 

the roti babi was served like this. some batter fried served with a slice of tomato, cucumber and bits of cabbage. it doesnt look good to me, and i paid rm8 for this. but when its cut open, it was a different story.

the pork filling tasted pretty good. it has some onions in it which i assume made it sweeter. but the filling was really little and you wont be seeing any filling at the edges. but i will order this again compared to the pork chop.

lastly, the main event of the day was the roasted pork. it supposed to come out at 11am, but even after some delay, we get to see the famous roasted pork.

they came out with 3 rolls and as it passes by us, we could smell the aroma instantly! wasting no time, the partner gave me permission to get some for our tummy and some to be packed for my parents at home. i quickly ordered half of it to be packed and 2 slices to be consumed there itself.

we are served with this. the skin is indeed crispy and chewy, but do not let your grandparents eat this for it may pull their teeth out because its really hard. but the meat was good, maybe because of the peach and other secret ingredients roasted with it. you may find it weird but they served it with apple sauce. salty and sweet. i tried and did not like it, i prefer it just like that. without the skin because its that hard.

it cost us rm8 per slice and rm75 for half of the roll which comes in 8 slices.

we had their half boiled eggs too while waiting for the roast pork, it was good. one of the better ones. not too watery and not too cooked. but beware, their soya sauce is extremely salty, so do not put too much first. i learnt it the hard way.

i might come here again, and try other food too. so you guys can give it a try. oh by the way, if its almost 10.30am, try not to get angry at those customers at the tables that are not moving and not eating, they are waiting for the roast pork!

rant 28: prices of beverage

did u realize the price of beverages listed in the menu of the restaurant or kopitiam u entered recently? dont bother answering this if you are those rich ass bitches or bastard that have enough money to swim in an olympic sized swimming pool.

ok, at least tell me that you realized a glass of water cost u at least rm0.50 or rm1 max. (if more, please proceed to pour the water at the waiter or waitress face because its fucking overpriced.) we all know that we need to drink something whenever we go out for dinner. you pay less if u decide to drink at a food corner because its lower class and its meant to be cheap. for example an inced tea will cost you rm1.80 max. if more, please pour it at the waiter or waitress face again.

if you were to go into a poshier restaurant, like a cafe for example an iced tea will cost you a freaking rm5 for i dont know what reason. you will still pay anyway, because you suckers (and i myself too) preferred to pay for the air cond and quieter environment. we shall rot in hell together.

fine dining restaurant will not serve iced tea because they high class like that.

my point is, we are actually paying a lot for beverages. and we drink more than we usually eat. because we human gets thirsty easier compared to getting hungry. that is what i think. and everytime i see people lining up for a cup of bubble tea (its an in thing now in malaysia) i see them paying rm6 or more for a glass of drink. which i think is pretty expensive.

and to those cafe, they charged rm8plus or more for a glass of drink. if its special, sure its not a problem. but its just everyday drink we can actually make by ourselves if we want to. and dont tell me you dont know that people who sell drinks earns the most. they do. now u know.

and sometimes, the drink can cost more than the food.

dont let me get started on alcoholic drinks. i admit i too spend money on them, but i need a little break once a while. and i could buy a whole bottle of JW for rm210? and they sell JW on the rock for about rm20++, and i assume the bottle and produce 20 to 30 glasses? more if they didnt watered it down.

so seriously people, try to not order that much beverage outside and bring your own water. unless they start bringing the price down, then start ordering again.

rant 27 : letting kids grow up

seriously, let your kids grow the fuck up.

seriously.

i know you love your children and i know how dangerous the world is. but children have to grow up! maybe you wont let them grow up because you are still stuck in the past and refuse to grow up yourself. you are not supposed to shelter them with extreme care. they want to go out and play under the rain? let them be! they want to eat ice creams for breakfast, give it to them! they want to pet animals, go ahead!

and for older children, i mean teenage and college kids, JUST LET THEM BE ADULTS ALREADY OHMYCHEESUS! you cant shield them forever from the real world and then complain they dont grow up. stop keeping track of their activities and control what they want to do. let them explore! we dont need another business kid or an accountant for goodness sake.

they want to go diving! let them go because its a different world down there! they want to go  mountain climbing? push them because thats as high they can get in real life! they want to submerge themselves in science, encourage them because it helps us in long term!

stop thinking that your kids are genius because they got number1 in class all the fucking time. they only know everything inside the book. ask them something out of the book, they will be as dumb as potato! children, teenagers and young adults need to be outside the book smart!

stop controlling them and let them be!

rant 26 : reading malaysia's news

im not too sure if any of you are malaysians or even read malaysia's news. but there have been so many news on criminals. it all started with a purse snatching in one-u/curve area. then it became snatch and stab incidents in the kl area where there are rumors that 3 incidents happened in a span of few hours, with a one hour interval between them and malaysia blocked the news. then few days back, there were news that lower part of a male body was found, just the part from the waist to the feet.

yesterday, a news of a women in malacca got purse snatched again, and this time she died. and the sad part is that, many passerby passed by and did nothing.

i was furious at first, but i had psychology class few semesters back where i learned about bystander effect which ease my furious-ness a bit. but at heart, i am still surprised that people actually wont call for help, looking at someone who is badly hurt.

i understand its annoying to stay back, to be involved. but at least try to use the goddamned public phone to call. its free anyway. just tell them where it is and what happened and leave. maybe a life could be saved!

what kills me is what the news said. first there was this news on the officer saying that apathy is making the thieves braver. yes, i agreed. but coming from a officer and posted on public is just plain wrong! how could you say that?! and after so many crimes being reported, why arent there news that police actually caught any of them? why?!!

but seriously people, public apathy IS making the thieves braver! they could commit crime and nobody is there to report? be responsible! stop complaining that the country is no longer safe, and commenting how people are acting like an animal. if you want this situation to change, first change yourself!

next, is what really kills me. not sure how this reported could come out with the title. the title "Love for strays caused snatch theft victim’s death". its as if the reporter is saying that the reason the person died is because she have too much loved. quote someone, why not just say that we will die because we are born? its never wrong to love strays, for strays are poor animals. and the thieves just took advantages. afterall, its still their fault that they snatched her purse. why are you blaming the victims love?

rant 25 : being stupid

people are allowed to be stupid, but some people took advantage of that chance. i am one of the 'some people'. i told myself that its ok to be stupid, has long as im good at something because im pretty sure there are other stupider people compared to me.

im wrong.

stupid people tend to talk about small things. when i say small things, i dont mean those meaningful but common things. they gossips, they think so big of themselves and they look down on other people, people who are better than them. how do i know? i am one of them.

i am regretting so much that im stupid. i cant even have a proper conversation with people that i really want to talk with. people dont talk to me because i cannot keep up with their conversation. im so ignorant of the world just like most of the people that i might not succeed in the future. and the worst part is, when someone call you stupid and you cant say anything because u know its true. been there, done that. i have to admit i was shocked when someone important to me called me stupid, but i dont even have the strength to reply because its the truth.

in your life, you might meet people are are less smart. never call them stupid or look down of them. because you might be one of them.

people who actually read this, please read and learn. not just from the book, learn everything.

because trust me, the feeling if knowing that you are stupid when someone points it at you, it hurts pretty bad. it scars you.

rant 24 : typical china movie

and i mean china. not those teeveebee drama you often watch on Astro. because teeveebee is from hongkong and its more awesome than china movie, altho most of the time the plot is the same. meh.

so right, my mum was watching this china movie with some hongkies in it. so i was thinking how bad can it be, since if hongkies is involved, it should be better than those typical china movies. how wrong am i? very wrong. so i sat down and watched for about 20 minutes and this is how much i commented with my mum.

first, u know how all movies that sets in the old dynasty? yes, so the girls always tie their hair up and wear guys clothes. and magically, no matter how pretty, short, tiny or huge boobs the girls have, NOBODY will notice that you are a girl. nobody.

and u know they often do the kungfu movies, because somehow they have to know kungfu. and they can do various things like jumping up and down, kill people with a hand, 1 vs. 30 bad guys and all? yea, so this actors right, they somehow got into trouble and two of them have to fight with 30 soldiers! and the literally stood there when the soldiers asked them to stay still, and 2 vs. 30? no problem, they will some how win or manage to escape. wtf? and they wont jump on top of rooftop eventho they can when running away from the soldiers.

and its so typical to hide strangers in you bedroom whenever you see them in trouble. not only that, everytime u trying to hide something, your parents confirm will show up one. and confirm will want to check out the place you hide them one. every single china (and teeveebee drama) i watch sure will happen one.

rant 23 : locals vs. tourist

why is it that tourist in malaysia (which is most of the caucasian a.k.a. ang mohs ) can do whatever they like and malaysians will adore them. its like, ang mohs can do whatever they want here in malaysia and get away with it. seriously.

for example, if some fat ang moh decided to show her three layer fats to the whole world in the pool area or the beach area, nobody gonna say anything at all. not  gonna laugh at them too! instead they say its their style and they look good in it and so on. but if one fat malaysian girl decided to show her one layer fat to the world, all the malaysians will start laughing at her or criticize her to death. most probably will end up in facebook too.

and if you see malaysian dying their hair colors to blonde, red, blue, green and many more, people will start talking behind your back saying that you practice black magic or so. but if some ang moh did it, you people will literally pray to them saying they look good and all. why so unfair one ah?

there is more to say, but i think i made my point? why is it that the locals have double standard for us locals and the ang moh? we all all human also ma.

rant 22: bras and bikinis

we all know how a bra looks like right? the grannny's bras, the training bras, the sexilicious lacey bras and the normal bras.

now,

we all know how a bikini looks like right? cover everything bikinis, the string tied bikinis, the striped bikinis and the cover-nipple-only bikinis.

now, why is it that we can wear bikinis and run around (in a pool or beach area of course) but we cannot wear bras and do the same?

they look almost the same, and if nobody tells you its a bra, you wont even realize unless you are a bikini or bra expert? so why cant female wear bras and walk around? its so unfair. if you wear the thinnest smallest piece of bikini and walk around the pool or beach area, its ok. you will be a superstar and nobody can do anything to you. but if you wear some cover up bra, that shows nothing on your breast, you get sued, penalty or jail time or something similar?

i dont get it.

rant 21: the other side

"the grass on other side is always greener"

i assume everyone heard of that phrase before, and most of your agreed. i agreed to it too, because anything and almost everything at the other side (meaning things that we can see but cannot get) seems to be better. but are they?

i cannot tell you readers now, and most of my readers are most probably from overseas or i have no readers at all. but when im somewhere out there, whether its in the United States of America, the peaceful land of Canada or down south Australia, i will tell you if the other side of the world have greener grass.

its a matter of perspective and experience. i mean, you can say that the beaches there have better waves, cleaner water, sparkling sand and lets not forget about the nude beach, but what about the 'ang mohs' that came to malaysia? not too sure if they have good comment on malaysia, but there must be something good here for us to be proud of. ok, i admit that the only thing im proud of is that... malaysia have awesome food yo! and cheap too! with or without conversion of money.

so dont always complain that the grass at the other side is always greener, try and open your eyes and see why the grass here is brown. and with some hope, you might find baby green grass, ready to see the world. stop complaining and do something about it. maybe the adults are forgettable, but the children, we can always train the children. dont dream big, start with your own child, or your baby cousin, niece or nephew.

let do something, so we can start saying, "the grass here is always greener".

and maybe, if you say that often, you yourself will believe in the lie you have created for yourself, and everyone else.

rant 20 : bacon price

theres an increase of price of bacon in jusco supermarket, by freaking rm0.70 per 100g. thats a lot, like really really a lot. i dont know what the fuck happened, but the price increases and im really really angry!

so i decided to shop in empire gallery's jaya grocer instead.

seriously, increasing the price is a sin. especially such a high amount. what? just because most chinese involve in business, it doesnt mean that we are fucking rich. some of us literally pick up money from the street!

rant 19 : expensive stuffed toy

who doesnt know that im a big fan of stuffed toy is not my friend. i love stuffed toys, i started off with collection of dogs, as i grow older, i began to collect pigs, and then weird looking animals and dinosaurs (altho i truly failed) and now, anything i think its cute.

today, i saw a guinea pig, at the price of rm145. it was a buy 1 free 1 promotion, meaning i could get 2 if i wanted to, which i really want. but, i couldnt, because im broke. that aside, it was really pricey. i saw a crocodile after that, it was prices at 399.95++. i dont know what the ++ means, rm399 for a crocodile? its not expensive if you compare it, but its expensive nevertheless.

i dont know why are the stuffed toys placed at such a high price, and yet people still buys it. lucky bastards with lots of money. im jealous of them, because all i can do i look at it, and pretend i dont like it so i could walk away. i stopped buying stuffed toys because their price is way out of my league. i mean, i can afford them, but i know deep down, the money could be spent of something else, something more meaningful and important, like books and food and more food.

its really crazy that a stuffed toy could be so expensive. why is it so expensive? have u seen the price of the stuffed disney characters in disney land? its so expensive that i could cry tears, as much as i want them and that they are the most adorable thing in the world. but for the price, the manufacture or producer must be crazy, or high on weed.

you do not sell stuffed toys at high price! why?

because poor children needs toys too, what if they do want a stuffed toy? although poor children are usually more sensible and that they prefer something more practical. but i know, they do want a toy!

its not made of gold goddamnit! its just cotton and more cotton. and those cheap bears that will shed furs like insanity? fuck you for selling us a spoiled product!

and since when stuffed toy is something of grand? kids do not deserve to get expensive presents! they should learn that! buying them expensive toys meaning they will want something more expensive in the future!!

lastly, there are people who really love stuffed toys like me, or even more than me, but unable to buy it. we do save our money to buy it, but everytime we saved enough, you people raised the price. and its killing our dreams to own a room or a house filled with stuffed toys.

so please! stop selling stuffed toys at a high price!

rant 18 : good looking food

sorry that i went AWOL. but i doubt people actually read this, so im not so sorry anymore!

today rant will be very simple, good looking food. u know, food that are decorated in such a beautiful way you cant really eat it?

i think it all started with the fine dining? where the plate must be scratchless, shiny and even the drip of sauce must be the same size? and then it took off to the knife challenge, u know? when the chef starts carving flowers, dragons, rabbits, etc into fruits and vegetables. i know those are not for eating, but its such a waste of food!! and for the food, i assume it taste good even without cooking!!

it wasnt a problem at first, i mean, pretty looking food. its just like a respectful thing that chefs do for the customer. and afterall, easting good looking food makes us happier. until they started to make things cute. like a cute pig pork bun. especially disneyland, they hand the famous pork bun and alien bun. how the fuck do u eat that?

and panda buns, bunny buns, most buns. since its cheaper (but still more expensive than normal buns). and sushi, they have gold flakes. im like, wha? i cant even afford gold yo!

i know its not easy to make those food, the workmanship, and its always the workmanship that will cost you your moneys worth. so, WHO THE HELL PAY SUCH PRICE FOR FOOD? do u know how many people out there is starving and they are eating leaves from the tree and maybe land too, which is the grass??!

seriously, u rich brats should learn the value of money.

back to food, i still think its acceptable if i pay a higher price for food. but hey, its food and i put it in my mouth. at least make it taste good! sometimes the food taste so bad i did go mamak to get some roti telur and milo kaw to wash the taste away.

sigh.

i  guess some food like kobe beef are just branded. not sure if they taste good, because i myself have never taste them myself before, but i hope when i do have the chance, they would taste good.

rant 17 : relationships

i wonder what are people thoughts on relationships. sure, everyone look happy at the outside, but how many of them is actually happy inside too? it takes time and effort to see what is in the relationship.

its easy for us to say it now. lets get married, make babies and live happily ever after. but how many of us really consider the dark side of relationship and its consequences before making a move? only those who are mature enough will understand, saying this because i have eye sore looking at kids who are in a relationship. when i say kids, i mean it literally.

its cute how they declare their love through social media, saying their love is forever. that they will get married, have kids and grow old together. few weeks later, if lucky months, they will break up. and say they will never get into relationships again, no more trust and shits like that. few weeks later, if lucky months, they will fall in love with someone else and the same shit happens.

i wonder how old do kids these days lose their virginity too.

im not being old fashioned, and i dont mind sex before marriage. but i do have my own limit. i dont think i want to see couple of 13 year olds having sex, i dont even want to know. they are just, too young.

love come in many sizes and shapes, and i truly believe that.

so people, if you are in a relationship, consider everything before u take an extra step. have all the fun while skipping all of the troubles. being in a relationship is not an easy thing to do, but its not very difficult either. take your time, sit down, drink some coffee and do some thinking.

rant 16 : aunties

i hate aunties.

especially those who cant drive properly and park properly. usually in the area i drive in, the aunties tend to forget what a signal light is. and then when they turn, they literally parked right at the corner. like a stupid boss. and if you think that is not bad enough, they double park too.

if you are lucky, u did see a triple corner park.

and aunties thinks they are super good at driving or something. they tend to be a bit richer this drive expensive car. they drive pretty fast too, but like a mad cow. they cut lanes, they break at the very last moment and sometimes even honk you.

they sometimes honk u if you dont move the second the traffic light turns green.

aunties who goes to market tends to stand in the middle of the road. they will talk and talk and.. i mean gossip and gossip and gossip as if the road is their house. and they are extremely rude too. if they saw some vegetables they want, the shove you away and then grab their vegetables.

did you know that they pluck every single bad leaves of the vegetables too?

some aunties dont speak. they shout. even if they want something, they shout right in front of your face. i have no idea why. especially some aunties that are rich but not too educated. beware because their speech will sometimes give u heart attack.

and oh, their vulgarities are pretty good too.

therefore, i hate aunties.

rant 15 : cooking

cooking, is a job for a women in the kitchen.

if that is your definition of cooking, kindly come and see me so i can kick some mustard or wasabi into you ass. or dick, whichever you prefer.

cooking is difficult. im not saying this because im a bad cook, im saying this because i know how it really is to cook. first you need to find ingredients, and then buy them. some ingredients need to be the very best, fresh and sometimes even expensive. and its heavy to be brought home too.

before you cook, some of the food you need to prepare beforehand. especially meat, you will need extra few hours or day to prep. you even need to chop them, sometimes with the bones and all. slice, chop, every ingredients have its different to be cut.

then cook. cooking is difficult. standing beside a hot wok, try it yourself. its not easy. and making sure all the classes of food is there, and must taste good. and sometimes the kids or husband complains the dishes are bad.

and cooking time needs like 1 hour or so, and eating needs 15 minutes or so. and you dont have to sit beside a fire to eat, unless its steamboat.

dont forget while cooking, the cook have to do all the dirty stuff too. clean the vegetables and meats, the innards and shits if unlucky, all the dirt.

so please be grateful to your cook.

rant 14 : time

since birth, everyone has got 24 hours a day for every single day.

but is 24 hours enough for a person to finish their business, responsibilities, entertainment and rest? it used to be enough when you were a little kid, but as you grow up, you wish to have more and more time in hands. but you will never get it.

every single year, the time seems to pass slowly in the beginning of the year and super fast at the end of the year. maybe because time only pass pretty fast when you are having fun (meaning end of the year you have school holidays) here in malaysia. so i assume as for working adults, your year passes super slow?

i think we deserve more than 24 hours a day, we have no many things to do, and that we dont get enough rest. yea sure, you say if we were to time our time wisely, we will be able to finish up our work in time. but really? it can only happen if we sacrifice our entertainment time and sleeping time. dude, sleeping time is important ok? especially for ladies. special especially for aged women.

but i guess we will always have only 24 hours a day, and nothing of that will ever change.

rant 13 : hello kitty

yes, i want to complain about hello kitty!

i know theres like gazillionmillion people who loves hello kitty. but i am not one of them! well, i used to, until i grow up and realized the stories were stupid.

and hello kitty has no mouth, so i dont know how kitty, mimi and daniel even talk at all.

and the items of hello kitty, its everywhere!! specs, phones, shoes, clothes and many more. i hate it so fucking much. not because i dont like hello kitty, its because suddenly there is a hello kitty fever, 99% of lalas start wearing hello kitty stuff. i want to die.

and its blardy expensive! i mean, its just the same as others, but double or triple the price? hell no!

rant 12 : expensive food

recently i have been having problems with food. because im broke. not because i dont have the money, because im saving the money to the biggest event of my 20 years of life.

what im saying is, i have rm200 a month to spend on lunch, and breakfast if i want to. and the food is just sometimes a little bit too expensive. in my college, the cheapest food but not too yummy will be sandwich. which will cost me rm1.70. and if i opt for the better one, it will be rm3.30. and these two wont leave me full.

so i go for chicken rice which will cost me rm4. and then, i will have not enough for my breakfast.

what im saying is, food these days are expensive. its not if you have all the money you can spend. but most of us have limit and it doesnt involve fancy meals everyday.

expensive food taste so good. for example sushi zanmai, tony romas, abalone&shark fin soup, thai food, etc. and sometimes, just because it has air conditioning and its in a shopping mall, the price is increased by gazillion times. for example madam kwans nasi lemak. im sure i can get it cheaper outside, and even tastier.

so yeah, what i hate about expensive food is that they sometimes taste bad! yet for the price we are paying, we deserve better food. i once ate in one hakka restaurant that serve a bowl of normal panmee that cost me rm18 if im not mistaken. it doesnt even taste good.

not keeping promises

remember my new year resolution?

"january : receive as many birthday presents as possible. i receive both in term of cash and items. cards, facebook wished, smses and calls are not counted. but even if you do give me cards, write on my facebook wall and send me a text or give me a call, i appreciate. but really, i prefer presents.th"

i did not receive much presents. i received a green stuffed keychain, rm600 angpao, a new iphone4s black and a packet of batteries.

so yeah, i didnt get much, but its ok. because it the thoughts that counts.

"february : spend romantic valentines days with the love of my life, as romantic as possible. i will guarantee you that this will not work out. i know the boyfriend so well, there is no romantic genes in him."

i really know him so well. last year, he had a bad fever. this year was better, nobody was harmed. but it fell on his busy day, so we spend about 5 hours together. mostly spent on sleeping because we were both extremely tired for no reason.

and this month,

"march : finish the spring semester, if possible with two As and increase my extremely low cgpa. history and chemistry, that will be tough."

things changed a little, so i did not take history but only chemistry. i will finish spring semester, not too sure with the A.

we shall see.

rant 11 : stupid drivers

so today i was driving, at the fast lane. and there is this beautiful white toyota vios in front of me, driving 65km/h. it was 6fucking35 in the morning, do you know how grumpy all drivers can be? and here you are, driving 65km/h IN THE LANE!!

asshole.

turns out shes a malay lady. no racism intended.

as i reached to the u-turn to pyramid, i was blocked by a kancil. u know, the almost extinct kancil? he could go front somemore, but refuses to go. so fine, i shall wait. and then, the traffic light turns green, asshole aint moving, he was using his phone. t(-.-t)

and then i need to park, cause i decided to park at the side gate instead of pyramid since i was early today. and those car who parked two spaces instead of one, you are damn lucky im poor, else i would come down drom my car to smash your windows and scratch your car. go back to driving school!!

and lorry drivers. ohmyshit la. just because they are fucking huge and cheap, they go around driving fast at every lane, scaring everyone, especially those tiny cars (mine) and honking their magnificent honk. i wish your tire get burst and nobody hire you anymore!!

and for some who doesnt know the signal usage. let me tell you. you use it before turning so the car behind will slow down, or even let you cut lane because of your signal. serious, if you show signal, i will let u cut in my lane. and for those who put left signal and turns right, vise versa. i hope your car get scratched.

i sound mean, but dont you just hate drivers like these?

rant 10 : diplomas, degrees, masters and phds

form 5-ers these days seems to have problems with choosing their path for their future education. its almost like this, first u need to know what you want to study, then know where u want to study, then know the cost and lastly you suddenly want to die.

why?

first of all, its not easy to know what you want to study. for example, u want to study psychology. then when u start studying, u realized u need to major in something like child psychology, abnormal psychology, criminal psychology, animal psychology, etc etc. and that is easier because when it comes to business, it gets worse.

and sometimes, after u start studying, only to realize that you dont like it at all.

and the fees, its so expensive! do i need to elaborate more? sometimes, u even need to pay for something u dont even know what.

and there is so many colleges and universities. how would you know which to pick? if you just want to follow your friends, how would your friend pick? and there are so many weird colleges that keep appearing. when i say weird, i meant college that is as big and a 3 stories building, and has one and only building.

our parents dont have this problem last time because they have limited courses and limited place. and they still turn out fine. instead, we are the one that might not turn out good.

rant 9 : valentines day

just because i taught you guys how to get gifts doesnt mean i have no comments on valentines.

every 14th february, everyone will go hyper because its valentines day. every will have a say whether you are single, in a relationship, likes it, doesnt like it, guy or girl and.. everyone.

those who are in a relationship will keep posting or tweeting about how sweet the partner is, what is they getting for their partner, what their partner got them, where are they going and how much they love each other for the rest of their lives.

the singles one will put #foreveralone. and how sad it is, how much they want a partner, and sometimes being a jealous person, complains about those who are in a relationship. usually girls will be super sad before valentines and pretty violent and unhappy after valentines. the guys are the opposite.

for those who hate valentines, they will criticize valentines and say that valentines is just another day. if its just another, why keep mentioning it that valentines day is just another day?

and those who loves valentines, they will prepare gifts, get ready, make the partner happy, bring the partner out and you know, what all couples do. and even the singles will celebrate with their friends or something.

and i hate how everything is fucking expensive. the roses that cost rm2 turns to rm8 minimum. the meals that supposed to cost rm50 per person suddenly increased to rm100. and the teddy bears, cards and many other stuff.

so yeah.

60 seconds

we all know that 60 seconds equals to 1 minute. i am not being captain obvious here, but its just a reminder. 60 seconds sounds longer than 1 minute, dont you think so? but whatever it is, sometimes 1 minute of 60 seconds is extremely important.

pay your bills before it gets cut off,
because this minute will never come back.

valentines day tips for guys

valentines day is coming and most guys are scratching their head wondering what to buy for their girlfriend. have no fear, i hope this will help. its the normal, nothing great and standard gift, on the safe side. just in case she doesnt like the dress u picked, or the cap that will mess up her hair and maybe the new computer game that she doesnt know existed. so here goes!


1. a bouquet of flowers, usually guys opt for roses. because its beautiful, elegant and romantic. although the price hiked up like a million times, but you guys should just get it for her. if you cant afford it, buy it at a smaller size, and mix it with other tiny flowers for decoration, so it makes the whole bouquet even bigger than it supposed to be. make sure the ribbons or papers wrapping it is not ugly!

2. chocolates. heart shaped chocolates or chocolates in heart shape. this is the second most common gift ever, but nothing can go wrong because girls love chocolate. (unless shes on a diet) wrapped it with ribbon and voila, give her both flowers and chocolates! easy.

3. if your girlfriend is on diet, skip the chocolates and buy her a teddy instead. everyone loves a teddy, and every girl has a teddy. no matter what. if she likes dogs, get her a stuffed dog, or dooodolls, hello kitty, domokun, u know? anything she likes.



4. handmade cards. instead of buying the ones in store, make a card! it shows ur sincerity and it is cheap! it doesnt have to be super nice, fancy and huge. because girls are sucker for sincerity. we dont care if you got us the biggest card, we prefer it handmade!! and u can write your message wherever and however u want it to be!


5. rings. one single ring for her or couple rings. whichever u can afford. no girls will say no to a ring. but dont bother getting a really fancy and expensive one unless you have truckloads of money. why? because when u want to propose later, u need a better one. so get her something classy, so she could wear and show it off to her friend until you are ready to give her a better one.
6. homecooked dinner. i know many of you cant cook, but if u can. whip out something simple. fried egg, bacon, sausages, and salad to make it look healthy. add two candle so you could enjoy candlelight dinner. romantic level : high. home cooked dinner is recommended because it will be really surprising for her. unless you have truckload of money, go book some fancy restaurant that she have been eyeing on. its ok to spoil her once a while.



7. if u want something really surprising, u can get her a pet. tiny ones. hamsters, rabbit, guinea pig or tortoise. whichever. but u have to be committed if you get her a pet, and show her that both of you can take good care of the pet, practicing to start a family. good for those who are together for some time now.


8. couple tee. you can get those couple tees that are made for couples, but i suggest getting a matching tee instead. it shows that you belong to her and it makes her happy. but if u guys are mushy enough, get those couple tee, matching tees are for those who are together for some time and maybe a little too old for couple tee. to be really special, go special print one set.


9. if you play guitar, this is a bonus for you. sing her a song from glee, bruno mars, justin bieber, etc. she will love you, because its the sweetest thing ever.




10. most importantly, you yourself is the best gift ever. but that doesnt mean u can just present yourself with no gifts at all. she will get upset, even if she didnt show it. so buy her something nice, it doesnt have to be expensive. just be there with her on the special day, it makes everything perfect. even if you buy her the most expensive car, the biggest diamond and freshest flower, if you arent there, valentines day will be lonely for her. so be with her!

rant 8 : fat people

this post is dedicated to me, myself and i only.

fat people is disgusting. they sweat if they walk at a little faster pace, their face turn red, they wear horrible clothes, look ugly most of the time and they most probably die 10 - 20 years earlier than normal people.

rant 7 : chinese new year

its the time of the year again! happy chinese new year people!!

of course, do enjoy your yummilicious meal, snacks, ang baos and gambling. its the time of the year after all. and at night you might even feel lucky because theres so many fireworks.

speaking of which, why the hell do people play fireworks early in the morning?! at 3fuckingAM!! hello, u supposed to play anything when the sky turns dark, but not as early as 3am. seriously, u should just pack everything and go to sleep or gamble or eat or anything buy playing fireworks.

so one guy died, hes only 26 too. i wonder how many are wounded by fireworks already.

rant 6 : human tortoise & human chains

human tortoise is a term for people who walk at an extreme slow pace.

human chains is a term for people who walk side by side and takes up pretty much space.

tortoise chains is a combination of both. and these people who be educated.

have u ever stuck behind some people, who extremely slow, not slow, but extremely slow, and u just want to push them aside (hopefully they fall) and just walk over them? i did, many times. especially in pretty small space where i cant walk to the side, and these people just walk so damn fucking slow that the gap in front of them can fit practically an elephant.

but its ok, they will be the people who get caught by the zombie. but zombie wont acknowledge them because the absence of their brain.

as for human train, u know how some people, who must walk side by side, (usually more than two) and takes up all the walking space? why is it that they must walk side by side? u cant talk as much as front and back! like seriously, the road is not yours. unless your grandfather's name or your dad's name is the name of the road.

and their face when u broke their chains, you just want to give their face a high five, with a chair. or maybe a table too.

so people, please walk reasonably. the road is not yours!!

rant 5 : money

those who knows me should at least hear me say this once or twice!




because im a money face women. i love money, who doesnt? but i dont steal, i dont cheat and i dont do anything bad to get it. i patiently wait for my pocket money every month and sometimes i get bonus for being a good kid. i mean, its money.

yes, i agree about money is not everything. but it is as important as everthing. dont talk shit to me like, "even if you have money, you wont have happiness, you are not healthy" shits. come on, if im sick, money prolong my life a little longer, and if im rich, hell yeah i gonna get lots of fake friends. no, i might not have real friends, but fake friends will do. and money can buy me happiness.

but, i wont mind having less money. i dont want to be poor, but i want to be slightly better than average. i want to be able to go for a holiday or two in a year, it doest have to be europe all the time, Bali or even Sabah will do.

i want to be able to eat 3 full meals a day. drive a good car, not lambo but i think audi tt will be good enough. kidding, give me a honda city, and i will be thankful. i want to be able to stay in a house that could fit 3 people and maybe 5 dogs.

and if there is any reason for me to cheat money, it will be for my child. his/her (hopefully its a he) education and health is important!

then again, that is all bullshit talking. just give me money and i will be a happy girl.

rant 4 : sunlight

was driving back home around 12pm, for about 15 minutes car ride. when i finally reach home, christina perry's thousand years was on flyfm. so i stayed in the car and listen to it, while letting my right hand exposed to the sun.

once the song ended, i off the engine and came down from the car. i could feel instant relief on my right hand's skin where it was exposed to the sun.

just for that short 3 minutes plus, my skin was burnt or harmed. you cant really see the effect, but you can feel it because the feeling of your skin is very obvious.

its almost chinese new year and everytime during chinese new year, its extremely hot. therefore, put some sunblock before you go out.

the earth aint gonna heal itself, the broken ozone layer aint gonna recover thanks to Dr. Gas. therefore, please take care of yourself. stay away from the sun to avoid increasing the chance of getting skin cancer. or maybe...

you can just stay under the sun, get skin cancer and hopefully die.

you should know your priorities by now.

rant 3 : adult

at what age are we consider as adult?

i hate it when parents always wants to control us, every step we take, every decisions we made and sometimes even how many times we blink our eyes.

i hate it when we will never be an adult in our parents eyes no matter how old we are, because apparently they ate salt more than we eat rice. they are somehow wiser, smarter and always right. my ass.

but when they need someone to blame, someone to let out on, or need us to do something, we are suddenly an adult in a blink of an eye. what logic is this?

turning 20 soon, but i still have to text my mum where i am, what am i doing, who am i with and what time i'll be home or out of home.

and if i didnt, they will always think that i dont respect them and that they are dead.

rant 2 : screaming kids in public

so i went ampang for brunch today with parents, aunt&kids and the boyf. the kids were happy to see boyf because, for some reason, they just love him to death that they kept following him and playing with him. problem for me is, their voices.

i hate kids with high pitched voice. their normal constant talking doesnt annoy me much, but when they scream, i swear i wanna kick them in the ass.

we often see kids screaming and crying in public. i mean, its ok if they parents goes to calm them down. but when the parents let them be, letting their kids screaming their lungs out or crying their hearts out, in additional on kicking the kids ass, i would gladly fire a bazooka to the parents.

kidding, where the hell i gonna get bazooka.

instead, i wish i could go to their parents face and teach them safe sex just because they do not know how to teach their kids. if you cant handle screaming or crying child in public, dont fucking give birth to them. dont tell me its their nature to scream or cry in public, its your responsibility to educate your child since birth!

i never blame the kids, i always blame the parents. so yeah parents, if you cant teach your kid, dont arouse each other, have sex, get pregnant, give birth and ignore your responsibility. so please, keep your screaming kids at home.

in fact, you can keep your kids at home. its even better.

its a win win situation for all of us.

rant 1 : new year resolution

i dont understand why people make new year resolution. 30% of us will not follow it throughout the year, 40% will most probably give up, 20% will not achieve the resolution, and the remaining 10% who achieved and maybe scored even better than expected are those with lots of money.

so here i am, making a list of new year resolutions. i will be making twelve, one for each month. just to prove that new year resolution doesnt work.

june : try to remember that mums birthday falls on this month. not sure which date, but this month. but its ok, old people dont mind celebrating it earlier or later anyway.

july : try to clear my room because might be leaving the following month, and decide which plushie i want to take with me.

august : try to see every important friends, and try not to get lost in the airport by myself. and make more friend when i reach states or canada because i dont want to be foreveralone anymore. im already foreveralone here, dont think i can be foreveralone there.

sepetember : hopefully i already fit in, get a job. get a job so i can shop in states, because winter is nearby and i need extra pretty clothes to wear. get a job. as if that will ever happen, most probably will just ask money from mum. im spoilt like that. dont you dare judge me, i know myself better, if i were to work, i can just throw my education away, low attention span problem. i shall now self declare ADHD.

october : try not to commit suicide.

november : celebrate birthday with the boyfriend via skype. biggest challenge so far. boyfriend is difficult to handle, but love will make up for it.

december : winter holiday. explore places with new found friend. spend money like crazy, because exploration needs money.

one resolution applies to all month, stay alive.

will try to update every month to tell you how i failed all resolutions. and make sure i dont make another one in 2013. if, there is no end of the world.
