rant 31 : art fields in asia and western countries

hi, i am back. after a long long long break.

since the last post i have posted, my life took a little roller coaster ride. and it finally stopped for a break, a 9 months break. so im back and i hope i can share more!

so my first rant after coming back will be... differences in type of studies. will compare between malaysia and australia in a bit. because i really dont know how the america study style works first hand.

coming back after some issue.. i fnd it difficult to get into any course because i was taking the american degree transfer program. i admit, it is my mistake that i didnt go to america but australia instead, but i didnt know that all the 2 years i have been through, is only counted as pre-u. so yeah, in order to go into any uk program (which is everything else other than adtp) i was pretty lost.

but alas, thanks to my parents understanding, i am able to finally join a culinary program. at first, nobody looked at me because culinary program is the 'loser' program. only people who couldnt study goes into it.

wrong.

there is so much to learn in culinary, cooking and baking. so so so much. why? there is science involved. a lot. those who doesnt know shouldn't comment. if i were back in australia, people will love me and i did get any job anywhere. in malaysia, im not too sure.

i like how overseas accept all these non (or less) study degrees so much easier and open handed compared to malaysia. in asia, you no doctor no scientist? you no good. (grammar mistakes on purpose) so yeah, why cant asian people appreciate the art field more? imagine there is no designers, no chefs, no hairstylist, no artist, no videographer and photographer... your lives will be dull.

try accept us with open mind. thanks
